ABOUT THE PROJECT

WHAT DOES "MyINDAH-Diet" MEAN?

WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS?

"MyINDAH Diet" (INclusive DigitAl solutions for Healthy diets),
— but in Bahasa Indonesia, indah also means beautiful.

Because we believe that a healthy diet, an empowered community, and a thriving planet should be beautiful — and possible — for all.

Imagine a future where every family, from the heart of Jakarta to the edges of Cibodas, can access nutritious, affordable, and sustainable food — powered by the very devices in their hands. That’s the vision that drives MyINDAH Diet.

Indonesia is facing a complex food and nutrition crisis — from children who don’t get enough micronutrients to urban families overwhelmed by unhealthy, ultra-processed options. Add climate change, economic shocks, and gender inequality into the mix, and it becomes clear: we need new tools, new thinking, and new partnerships.

MyINDAH Diet is more than a research project — it’s a movement to digitally transform the way we nourish ourselves, our communities, and our planet.

WHAT WE AIM TO DO?

🌱 Grow digital solutions
From nutrition profiling apps to supply chain analytics and dietary decision tools — we’re building inclusive digital tools that meet local needs.

👩‍🌾 Empower communities
We work with women, farmers, cooks, youth, and decision-makers to co-create solutions that truly work — because no one knows their food system better than the people living in it.

🔍 Understand what’s working — and what’s not
We use data, stories, models, and maps to uncover what helps or hinders healthy eating, especially for vulnerable groups.

🌏 Build a resilient, climate-smart food future
By linking health, environment, and gender equity, we’re helping Indonesia meet its Digital Vision 2045 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — one bite at a time.
